About The Position

Bionic is actively seeking a talented and experienced Director of Product to join our high-growth startup. As the Director of Product, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product strategy, driving innovation, and leading a team of product managers, designers, and technical writers to deliver exceptional solutions to our customers.

We provide an Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platform that proactively reduces security, data privacy, and operational risks by continually analyzing the entire application architecture in production. Our platform offers deep visibility into the application layer, enabling organizations to effectively manage the risk associated with their services, APIs, dependencies, and data flows.

What you will do?

Develop and execute the product strategy, aligning it with the company's overall vision and goals.
Lead and inspire a team of product managers, designers, and technical writers, providing guidance and mentorship to drive product excellence.
Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and other teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
Manage a team of talented product managers , designers and technical content writers
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify market trends and opportunities.
Define product requirements and prioritize features based on customer needs, market demands, and business objectives.
Work closely with customers and partners to define, validate and measure the impact of new product capabilities.
Drive product innovation and identify opportunities for product differentiation and competitive advantage.
Define and track key product metrics, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve product performance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and customer-centricity within the product organization.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully delivering software products from concept to launch, preferably in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in managing and leading design and technical writing teams.
Experience in agile development methodologies and working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Technical background or understanding, with the ability to engage with engineers on technical discussions.
Equivalent experience

Advantages:

Experience in the cybersecurity industry or a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and application security.
Experience in scaling products and driving growth in a high-growth startup environment.
Knowledge of data analysis and using analytics tools to drive product decisions.
Strong user empathy and a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
