System Administrator

Remote, US · Full-time

About The Position

Bionic is looking for a talented and highly motivated system administrator with strong communication skills and service orientation. If you are an experienced system administrator who loves the IT world and has high service awareness, then this is the position for you!

In this role, you will provide support and service to company employees while developing, implementing, and coordinating IT systems, policies, and procedures.

We were named a 2021 Cool DevSecOps Vendor by Gartner, and are working with customers like Freddie Mac, GSK, MX, and Armis to automate the way companies detect and prioritize application risk, with complete transparency into what applications are doing in any environment, at any time.

Responsibilities

Maintain IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, servers, laptops, software & hardware.
Maintain the company's local Network and Wifi.
Onboard new employees: set up the employee work environment including laptops, accounts, permissions, licenses, etc.
Handle security alerts, IT tasks, and systems administration.
Technical support - provide general support for our global team.

Requirements

3-5 years experience in IT.
Experience with Mac and Windows operating systems.
Knowledge in hardware and software troubleshooting.
Experience in network failure troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in Linux operations system (Ubuntu) and Windows Server.
Familiar with cloud environments (AWS).
Familiar with virtualization (ESXi) and VMware applications.
Good scripting abilities (Bash and Python).
Great interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
